We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with occasional Team Leader / Supervisor cover duties to join our busy night shift operation within a meat wholesaler business.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who is looking to progress within a fast-paced environment.
Shift Pattern:
Sunday to Thursday
22:00 – 07:00 with one hour of break(unpaid)
Pay:
·Approx. £29,200 per year ( BONUS INCLUDED)*
*£100 bonus per week whilst covering Team Leader/Supervisor duties
The Role:
Alongside general warehouse duties, you will provide:
·Holiday cover for Team Leaders (approximately 27 days per year)
·Sickness cover when required
You will be expected to support daily operations, help coordinate a small team, and ensure smooth running of the shift when stepping into a supervisory role.
Working Environment:
·Chilled warehouse environment
·Manual handling and some heavy lifting required (up to 20kg)
Requirements:
·Previous experience as a:
– Warehouse Coordinator
– Team Leader
– Warehouse Supervisor
·Minimum 3 months’ experience leading or supervising a small team
·Good communication and organisational skills
·Reliable and able to work night shifts
·Own transport essential
