We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Production Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line by performing various tasks related to the handling of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday
07:00 – 16:00
The hourly pay rate is £11.44, raising to £12.21 in April.
Duties
· Manually scrape and reapply solvent and glues to under floor panelling
· No heavy lifting involved as each panel is less than 6kg
· Always adhere to safety protocols.
· Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimising waste.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while upholding quality standards.
Requirements
· Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
· Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
· Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety practices is advantageous.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
· A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a diverse workforce.
