Our client, a well-respected engineering company are looking for a experienced MIG welder to join their team.You will be responsible for assembling metal products using fixtures, turntable with chuck and welding plant.
All candidates will be required to take part in a welding assessment during interview.
About You:
- Able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable adapting to changes in working practice
- A motivated individual with the ability to follow direction
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Study and interpret welding instructions as per drawing and planning
- Weld metal parts
- Assemble components, weld and remove spatter if required
- Complete preventive maintenance
- Complete quality control forms
- Participate in product development
- Build prototypes and test products
Requirements:
- Experience of welding using MIG, TIG and Stick Welder.
- Experience of cutting and shaping using Oxy Acetylene and Plasma Cutter.
- Experience of using workshop equipment including: Steel Band Saw, H D Punch Machine Vertical Drill and Linisher.
