365 People are recruiting on behalf of a Steel Stockholding client for an experienced Laser Machine Operator this is an excellent chance for a Laser Machine Operator to join a company in Dudley that offers opportunities for personal development and internal progression.
Hours:
- Full-time
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- 6am – 6pm – The Laser Machine Operator must be available for 12 hour shifts
- 3/4 weeks will be based on a 6pm – 6am shift, 1/4 weeks will be based on a 6am – 6pm shift
- 40 – 60 per week
Rates of Pay:
- £13.26ph – £15.90 per hour
As a Laser Machine Operator you will need:
- 2 years laser cutting experience (tube laser background accepted)
- Good understanding of sheet metal materials
- Fluent in English, able to read engineering drawings, meticulous with paperwork
- Good energy
- Team player
- Be extremely reliable
- Successfully pass a drugs test when required
Key responsibilities as a Laser Machine Operator are:
- You will also work on fibre laser at times (training will be given).
- Quality control of ongoing production.
- Preparing and packing parts for despatching.
- Weekly preventative maintenance of Laser.
- Working as part of a team.
