Finance Manager/ Company Accountant

365 People have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and confident Finance Manager/Company Accountant to provide financial accounting and reporting for our clients growing business in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

The successful candidate will provide financial expertise and commercial advice to the Director and Head of Departments whilst building up the foundations of the accounting procedures.

You will have previous experience in dealing with SME Accounts, as well as providing financial guidance in terms in a fast-growing business. You will be responsible for our clients daily financial accounting and support the implementation of a rigorous KPI structure to provide a timely reporting for all aspects of their business.

Furthermore, you will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be Qualified with a minimum of two years’ post qualification experience in accounts and bookkeeping. You should have the experience to identify and instigate improvements to current working practices, a high level of attention to detail, be able to take ownership of tasks and deliver to completion. In addition to this you should have a professional, enthusiastic common-sense approach to problem solving, possess good inter-personal skills and be able to work autonomously.

About the Role:

  • Prepare monthly accounts (P&L and balance sheet) for three companies
  • SASS, VAT returns and invoicing for property rental
  • Oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues
  • Prepare and submit information to statutory authorities including HMRC
  • Liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information and insurances
  • Preparation of annual statutory Accounts for submission to external accountants
  • Prepare and Submit Payroll
  • Cashflow statements
  • Develop the forecasting models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
  • Review company internal controls
  • Annual Budgeting/ Forecasting
  • FEX and Consignments for imports
  • Business analysis and reporting to the management team
  • Maintaining and overseeing the purchase ledger and queries


  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role
  • ACCA, CIMA qualified 2+ years
  • Superb spoken and written communication skills
  • A professional manner
  • Excellent computer literacy
