Location: Tewkesbury Depot, GL20 Department: Chilled Warehouse Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (Mon–Sat) Shift start times: From 04:00–09:00 (multiple start times)
· Weekdays: 04:00, 05:00, 06:00, 07:00, 08:00, 09:00
· Saturday: 04:00, 05:00, 06:00, 07:00 Operatives must commit to all shifts. Shifts vary based on production needs and do not follow a fixed early/late pattern.
Pay: £13.17 per hour, increasing with training Overtime: Paid at 1.25x after 40 hours
The role
You’ll join a modern chilled warehouse operation, working with electric counterbalance FLTs to support production and transport. This is a physical, temperature-controlled role involving order picking, stock movement and safe vehicle loading across the warehouse, factory floor, glass fridge and loading bays.
Key responsibilities
· Operate a counterbalance FLT to move, load and unload goods safely
· Pick and prepare customer orders accurately
· Carry out stock rotation and replenishment
· Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly, safely and securely
· Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping
· Work collaboratively across warehouse, production and distribution teams
About you
· Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within last 3 years)
· FLT experience in warehouse, FMCG, chilled food or production environments
· Accurate, reliable and flexible with good attention to detail
· Comfortable working variable shifts and tight deadlines
· Confident working independently and as part of a team
Desirable: Dairy/FMCG experience, PPT experience, strong H&S knowledge
