We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and strong computer skills to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods In:
- Booking in deliveries using computer systems
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Checking goods with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Communicating effectively with internal teams
- Maintaining organised and efficient storage areas
Stores (various departments):
- Stock control and inventory management using computer systems
- Safe use of forklift equipment
- Picking and allocating stock accurately
- Working collaboratively across different warehouse areas
- Ensuring strong organisation and housekeeping standards
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Computer literate (essential for stock systems and processes)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering warehouse environment
