Our successful Automotive Services Client based in the Gloucester area is currently looking for experienced Quality Inspectors to join their team working on sites in Gloucestershire.
Duties can include:
- Visually checking parts made on-site for accuracy and quality.
- Completing documentation for each shift completed.
- Reporting to company Supervisors or Managers.
- Measuring parts using micrometres, verniers and various other gauges.
- Working to specific requirements for each job worked on.
- Completion of various paperwork on each shift worked.
- Liaising with production teams to ensure best practices are followed during manufacturing process.
- Reporting of issues with equipment or parts to management and maintenance teams.
Requirements:
- Previous quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Maths and literacy skills (written English).
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Good problem-solving skills and proactive nature regarding issues.
- Ability to follow spoken and written instructions.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Use initiative when/ if working alone.
- Current & Valid Driving Licence and own transport is preferred due to the location of certain sites (mileage allowance will be paid for sites outside of area).
Shift:
- 07:00 – 16:00
Salary:
- £12.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on shifts worked)
- Excellent overtime rates
