365 People are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to help our client implement manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products.
You will need to have a good knowledge of tool design and welding methods. Other necessary manufacturing engineer skills include;

- Shift:
- Monday to Friday
- 8am to 4pm (+/- 1hour)
- Permanent position from day one for the right candidate
Location:
- Oldbury (West Midlands)
Salary:
- £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Mechanical Engineer responsibilities:
- Control of Welding section
Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements.
Conduct experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results.
Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability, and safety.
Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions.
Estimate budget and scope of project - Prepare product reports and documentation
Requirements and skills:
Proven working experience in mechanical engineering and Welding
Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA)
Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE)
Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other) – desirable!
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
Technical writing skills
